Butterfly Mat Wall Hanging

 Hi friends....
I made this wall hanging using Butterfly mat( plastic canvas mat)...It was a very old craft...Most of us did this in our school days....i also made one so many years ago...it was in my mom place...so i decided to make one for my house...so here is the result...i hope u all like it....
Below picture are the closer view of the wall hanging...Required materials are woollen thread(any two color), decorative items of your choices...i used kundan stones, small golden leaves....Actually i used violet color and light green for this mat....but i am not able to bring the beauty of the mat in my photo...(it looks more nice in real than the photo)...soon meet u all with my another work....

Fish wire parrot

Hi friends....
Hope u all had a happy and safe diwali....
i made this parrot using fish wire...it is available in all craft shop...i already made pineapple using this fishwire....here is the link for pineapple.
actually i am planning to make chimes using straws and this parrot....we can also make fish using this wire...i will post the picture of fish later.... your comments are welcome...

Paper flower star

for a long time i was thinking to make a craft using chart papers... today i got time to search about chart paper crafts.. actually  my long time plan was to make origami or 3d modular swan... but due to lack of time and my laziness it is in my to do list.... but in future u can expect my swan...but when( i itself dont know)...

after searching for a while i entered into Dr. Sonia's blog....and i got a beautiful and clear cut tutorial for this paper star....so immediately  i started doing it.... and here is the result....hope u all like it....

Straw dress for my doll

how is my doll...
Actually i made this straw dress so many months ago...and i also planned to decorate something in her dress and her accessories like bangle, earrings, headband.... but i feel very bored to continue the same thing....but one final day i will decorate her...but when and where is a big ????so i decided to post here...
The instruction to make straw is very simple....the required thing to make straw dress are straw(now it is available in multicolors pack and it cost within Rs.20 to 30) and one doll(medium or small),nylon wire i.e the wire we used for bead works...that's all.
just take one straw and  make measurements for tops and bottom...how long u need for top...say for ex. 4 inch and for bottom 8 inch means then cut the straws for tops and bottom separately.
for tops : take nylon wire to join the straws...using one wire join one side of  the straws...and take another wire to join the other side of the straws. i.e up and down of the straws.
after finishing the joining straws pull any one of the side tightly according to the neck of the doll. put a knot...
so the other side automatically becomes broad....dont tight the other side just put a knot to join the end to become like a tops. same way  u can do for the bottom...u can also visit arusuvai.com to see the photo tutorial of this straw doll...
